at the Department of Legal and Constitutional History
 


Reference number: 9083

The department is part of the Vienna Law School. The function of the department is research and academic teaching in the scope of Legal- and Constitutional history (focussing on history of private and constitutional law.). The department services about 1.500 students each year.

Duration of employment: 4 year/s

Extent of Employment: 30.0 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: §48 VwGr. B1 Grundstufe (praedoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

Job Description:
Assigned tasks: Participation in research, teaching and administration, especially: contribution to scientific studies, publications, organisation of conferences, examination activities of the supervisor. Possibility to write a dissertation. We expect the successful candidate to sign a doctoral thesis agreement within 12-18 months. Participation in teaching and independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement.

Profile:
over average academical success, esp. in legal and constitutionaly history, Excellent command of writen and spoken English
