The International Baccalaureate® (IB) is currently seeking to make the appointment of:
Examiners for Norwegian Literature
The IB Diploma Programme Language A: Literature course introduces students to the analysis of literary texts and is a comprehensive exploration of literature from a variety of cultures, genres and periods. The course encourages students to appreciate the artistry of literature and to develop an ability to reflect critically on their reading. The study of works in translation is especially important in introducing students to other cultural perspectives while appreciating their own cultures and works associated with them.
We are seeking to recruit Norwegian Literature examiners in our Diploma Programme (DP) to mark externally assessed work or to moderate internally assessed components (reviewing the original marking of teachers).
All IB examiners are paid a fee per script marked. The greatest benefit to an examiner comes from the insight and the professional development that is acquired through the experience of examining. This experience helps teachers to improve the quality of their teaching.
