The HIV Cure Research Center (HCRC) focuses on HIV Cure Research and is divided into four research units: the virology/sequencing unit, the immunology unit, the immunotherapy unit and the target discovery unit. There is close collaboration between these units.
The proposed project will focus on in depth evaluation of HV patients that are newly diagnosed with HIV. We are looking for an assistant in Internal medicine with interest in biological processes and in viral diseases. This PhD will focus on virology and immunology.
The PhD involves the organization of sample collection, coordination of sample processing and the conduct of lab analysis, including PCR, sequencing and flowcytometry. There will be a close collaboration with the MDs involved in the study and the study nurses.
