Research Engineer at the Media Technology Center (80-100%)
Together with experienced researchers (Postdocs), you will develop software prototypes (research prototypes) for new media technologies. You will be responsible for the implementation, testing, and maintenance of these prototypes as well as the platforms needed for the operation of the Media Tech Center (online demo platform).You will be implementing state-of-the-art research into software prototypes using technologies from computer graphics, machine learning, and computer vision.
You hold a master degree, or a diploma from a university of applied science in relevant fields (computer science, electrical engineering, etc.) and you have experience in natural language processing, machine learning or computer vision. Excellent programming skills are essential. Ideally, you bring experience with working on applied research projects at the intersection between academia and industry. You should be well versed in English.
