The cosmology group led by Prof. Alexandre Refregier seeks to answer fundamental questions about the Universe: What is the nature of Dark Matter and Dark Energy? What are the initial conditions for the formation of cosmic structures? Is General Relativity valid on cosmological scales?
Postdoctoral Position(s) in Observational Cosmology
Applicants are invited
to apply for one (or several) postdoctoral position(s) in Cosmology at the Institute for Particle Physics and Astrophysics at ETH Zurich. The candidate(s) will work in the Cosmology group of Prof. Alexandre Refregier and may focus on data analysis, observations and/or theoretical interpretation. The candidate(s) will also be encouraged to develop their own research programme. The research group is involved in several wide-field state-of-the-art cosmological survey projects and has guaranteed access to high-performance computer clusters. Information on the research group can be found at http://www.cosmology.ethz.ch
